Create custom Reverse-Cut / Mirror-Cut vinyl lettering specifically for installation on the inside of transparent glass so the finished lettering reads correctly from the opposite side.
Ideal for storefront windows, glass entry doors, transoms, fanlights and office glass where the vinyl needs the protection or appearance of an inside-glass installation. The customizer mirrors the design preview to represent the production direction.
This product describes application direction. It is not the same as intentionally mirrored outside-applied lettering created for a special viewing requirement. If your lettering will be installed on the outside/front of the surface but the artwork itself must be mirrored, use the appropriate project product instead.
Measure the usable glass width and height and choose the finished width, height or fit-within-space option. Check the complete design dimensions before adding to cart. Apply to clean, dry, smooth, compatible transparent glass; opaque mirrors and solid panels cannot be viewed through for reverse application.

Is this decal mirrored?
Yes. This lettering is reverse cut, which means it is mirrored on purpose. You apply it on the inside of the glass and it reads correctly from the outside. For a car decal that goes on the outside of the window or body, no mirroring is needed and a standard decal is the right choice. Only choose reverse cut when the design will be viewed through the glass.
What does reverse cut mean?
The lettering is cut as a mirror image and applied to the inside of the glass, so it reads correctly from outside. It is the right choice for shop windows, office glass, and doors where you want the lettering protected indoors.
Do I need a shadow on my lettering?
A shadow is not necessary for most designs. A black or contrasting shadow can add depth on busy backgrounds, but clean single colour lettering reads beautifully on clear glass. If you are unsure, ask us and we will advise based on your photo.
What surfaces does it work on?
Smooth glass and mirrors. The surface should be clean and dry before application, and we include guidance with every order.
Can I remove it when I move or rebrand?
Yes. Warm with a hair dryer, peel slowly, and wipe residue with rubbing alcohol.
