A Closer Look at School Signage

Schools change every September. Teachers move rooms, offices move down the hall, and the signs have to keep up. Vinyl lettering suits schools because it goes up without paint, reads clearly from down the corridor, and comes off cleanly when a room changes hands.

Classroom door lettering carries the teacher name and room number in a style that suits the school, from classic gold on glass to bright colours for early years rooms. Office and administration doors carry titles and room names the same way, so a parent walking in finds the office, the library and the gym without asking.

Gymnasium and library walls take large lettering well: school mottos, team names and reading corner words, cut large and applied directly to painted walls. Subject labels and binder labels keep classrooms organized, and the same lettering style can run through a whole school for one clear standard.

Orders can cover a whole school at once or a single door. Send the list of names and rooms with the door or wall measurements, and every piece arrives labelled and ready to apply, with the written guide in the package. Application needs no special tools and most doors are done in minutes.

Because the lettering is cut to order, a new teacher in October gets the same style as the doors done in August. The standard holds all year.

School Signage Questions

Can lettering go on painted doors and walls as well as glass?
Yes. The vinyl applies to glass, painted doors, smooth walls and most clean, smooth surfaces in the school.

What happens when a teacher changes rooms?
The name piece removes cleanly and a new one in the same style takes its place. Order one door at a time whenever you need it.

Can the whole school match?
Yes. Choose the font, colour and size once, and every order after that follows the same standard.
